Miani Giron
Hi, I'm Miani Giron Pre medical/Biology undergraduate student at Syracuse University.
Miani Giron is a current student at Syracuse University. She is an active member of Phi Delta Epsilon International Medical Fraternity whos guiding principles include "philanthropy, deity, and education through fellowship, service, mentoring, and formal training in leadership, science, and ethics." Miani is former president of Women's Leadership Project, an organization designed to empower young women of color. Many is the recipient of many prestigious scolarships on the basis of merit, scalastic achievment, and civic engagement. Awards she has recieved include a Posse Foundation Leadership Award, a Horatio Alger Association award, a Discover Co. award, a United Friends of the Children award, a Sandpipers award, ELKS Logde award, ILP award, and several additional achievements amounting to well over $200,000 in scholarship funds. Miani has a very high degree of professional commitment and has a sustantial level of personal and professional commitment to her work. Miani is dedicated and has a passion for both science and the social issues that affect campus. Without hesitation Miani embraces new challenges and contributes in new and creative ways each step of the way. Miani Giron's promise as a scholar and future medical professional can be described only as extraordinarily notable. She embodies the meaning of success.
